At various times through out your child’s education issues may arise that you feel need to be addressed with the school on a formal footing. This could relate to issues surrounding bullying, strategies used by the school for discipline or concern over whether your child has been discriminated against.
In the first instance it may be these issues can be resolved through our offices sending a letter to the school concerned to see if a remedy can be agreed. We often attend meetings at schools to implement a round the table approach to negotiation.
If this approach is not successful then consideration can be given to involving the local authority in the dispute. Our skilled solicitors also consider each case on an individual basis to assess whether any court proceeding are available and if so that they are used within the appropriate time scale.
