Family Law
I obtained my degree at Manchester Metropolitan University and then studied at the Inns of Court School of Law, being called to the bar in 2002. I then completed the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test, qualifying as a solicitor in 2005.
Since qualification I initially worked in the areas of Civil Litigation before moving to Family Law in which I have now specialised. I advise on all aspects of family work, namely divorce, separation, domestic violence and private children law in which I have a particular interest. I regularly obtain emergency orders for clients enabling them to be protected from domestic violence, occupy the family home or safeguard their children.
I am a member of Resolution and follow their code of practice. I always adopt a firm but sensitive approach ensuring that cases are dealt with in a non-confrontational manner.
